There is a sports section, music section, quite a few sections devoted to specific historic categories such as presidential history and general US history. You can also click on the link to select any other day of the year other than the day you are visiting the site to find out what happened, like on the day you were born. Very interesting facts on the site that can really take some time to go through (being there are 365 days worth of pages).
